BabyReady is currently in development for iOS. This policy describes the App as designed and may be updated before public release.
🛡️ BabyReady is designed with privacy at its core. Your personal data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose outside of delivering the app's childbirth education features.
Introduction
This privacy policy applies to the BabyReady mobile application ("App") developed by BRK Services ("we", "us", or "our"). BabyReady is a clinically governed virtual childbirth education app that delivers labor and delivery preparation content reviewed by an OB/GYN. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected.
Data We Collect
BabyReady collects only the minimum data necessary to deliver its core features:
- Learner session data: BabyReady uses anonymous authentication to create a temporary, device-based session so your course progress can be saved without requiring an account or any personal identifying information.
- Course progress: Which lessons and modules you've viewed or completed, stored in Firebase Firestore so your progress persists between app sessions.
- Purchase records: If you purchase course access, purchase validation is handled by RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. BRK Services does not store payment card information.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or other personal identifiers for learner accounts
- We do not collect location data
- We do not collect health or medical records about you or your pregnancy
- We do not use advertising SDKs or ad tracking identifiers
- We do not sell or share your data with data brokers or advertisers
How We Use Your Data
- Anonymous session: To identify your device session so your course progress can be saved and restored.
- Course progress: To track which clinically reviewed content you've completed and resume where you left off.
- Purchases: To unlock paid course content you've purchased.
Clinical Content Review
All educational content in BabyReady is authored and reviewed by a licensed OB/GYN clinician through an internal review workflow before it is published to learners. This clinician review process uses a separate, credentialed clinician account and does not involve or expose any learner's personal data.
Data Storage and Security
Your session and course progress data are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), which is secured by Firebase Security Rules. Firebase data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Third-Party Services
BabyReady uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (firebase.google.com) — authentication and data storage
- RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) — in-app purchase management
- Apple App Store — payment processing for course purchases
BabyReady does not integrate with Facebook, Google Ads, or any advertising network.
Data Retention
Your anonymous session and course progress are retained for as long as the App remains installed and your session is active. Uninstalling the App removes your local session, and you may contact us at any time to request deletion of any associated progress data from our servers.
Children's Privacy
BabyReady is intended for expectant parents and adults. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

You have the right to:
- Request deletion of your course progress and associated data
- Contact us with any privacy-related questions or concerns
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy as the App evolves and moves toward public release. Any material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or updated effective date on this page.
